The Web's Voice in the wilderness

The world is fading and beauty depleting,

So get yourself a ticket for Heavenly seating.

As it all winds up you begin again,

and it's all through Jesus and your Father in Heaven.

It's like working your way out of a paper bag,

for without Him you are just a dag. 

Hanging out off the back of a sheep somewhere,

In a place that no one would ever stare.

You were meant for the head and not the tail,

So fly like an Eagle… Don't sliver like a snail.

Today is the day for Salvation it seems,

Amidst all the world's unGodly themes.

Know the one who is in the sky,

He's waiting for you in the By and By.

Live this Life with all the goodness you can,

and don't give in to the evil spirit of man.

Earthly work is hard… it really gets you nowhere,

So if you Love yourself and others… if you really care.

Cry out to Jesus… ask for His Love,

Get His Forgiveness that comes from your creator above.

Let Jesus reign in your life,

He'll rip away the strife.

… and He'll definitely show you the way,

Once you learn how to really Pray.

For without Him there is no light,

You are like the blind in the night.

But with Him you find Joy,

so let those Prayers deploy.

Your not there yet,

But without Jesus I'll bet,

You'll feel that pain that drives you insane.

… But while on Earth… for goodness sake,

For what it's worth,

Cry out to Jesus!  and GET YOUR SECOND BIRTH.

Isn't the hardest part of any life the waiting?  Doesn't patience seem a distant dream sometimes….

Some of us are waiting for that job, that car, that relationship to come through.  Many wait for a cure or even death when in an intolerable situation.  Think of the Bible passage of Paul when in jail with Silas in Acts Chapter 16.  They used their time to simply Pray and Sing Praises to God….  even when they seemed destitute.

I'm sure many in the Eastern jails of today are not singing much.  Many are there under false pretenses like the Australia Chinese Business from RIO TINTO.  Stern Hu must be finding the lack of Justice in his case hard to bear.  Schapelle Corby may be a guilty party but is certainly having no party at all and possibly wondering when will it all end……

We all have a dream that we want fulfilled.  We all have a place we would rather be, but take stock of this:

I'll get there one day, but I wont let pride get in the way…..

It is pride that says I deserve better…  I am worth it…  I and my needs are all that matters.

God wants us to push pride aside, it is often the very thing that gets in the way of His Delivery System.  Humility brings on much more than we realise.  Once we do realise that everything ultimately comes from God, we suddenly understand that He has already given so much.

So thank God for small mercies everyday, let His Spirit into the situation and take time to Pray and Glorify Him through song.  He will show the way, He will prosper you.

Have you noticed the amount of search web-sites available today like "Facebook", "Schoolfriends" and "Person", just to name a few. Do you realise it is all in an effort to make the world appear smaller and at your fingertips.

A word of warning though, if you are going to head down that path you need to have your previous baggage checked before you take off head long into it. It's all well and good to get to catch up with old friends, but it also has a way of bringing up a lot of old "stuff" also. That long lost love you once had a crush on, married or not? That bully that you parted company with on uneasy terms. That person that really has once wonderful, now turned to someone aweful and to be avoided.

People and marriages are going to the wall over this free and easy dig into your past. Some people say it is good to deal with your past this way, but is that really the way you have to solve it?

I believe that if we are meant to regurgitate our past on these web-sites then we have lost this moment and backslidden totally backwards to a time that is best left alone. Don't let a web-site rekindle old flames that may turn into infernos. The devil loves top work on your past so that you keep looking back and away from God. For He is the one we are headed for.

If you want someone to regain contact with then pray for God's Will on that subject, throw the bread out on the water as it were and see if it comes back naturally through life or not. Don't do it man's way with this world wide push for confusion to the enth degree.  Everyday people say why is the world getting so confusing? I'll tell you why, because people act as though next week is the end of the world, and we need access to all our wants today. Whatever happened to "in God's time" and "she'll be coming round the mountain when she comes"?

Here is some good advice if you are in a relationship and it is not quite balancing out right. Take it from me, someone who is in his third marriage and has learnt plenty about the opposite sex.

It's all well and good to have a partner, but there is a line that you need to be aware of that is at a feelings level.   It's the power of one sided idolizing, something I definitely got wrong in my second marriage.

The physical attraction was so strong that it too overtook my head and eventually my heart.  It helped mess the marriage up because I placed her on a pedestal.  Now I know that some would not have it any other way, but it is not the right way.  I am now blessed to have learnt that hard lesson, she ultimately left me for another more balanced relationship (unfortunately he was married though, oh well, I'm released because of that).

Jesus, during His time on Earth, proclaimed that now we are saved and submitted to Him, we are not Slave or Free, not Jew or Gentile, not Man or Woman but one in Christ.  We are equal but different, and I believe that we can also take that right type of order into our relationships.  BY RAISING OUR PARTNER TO A LEVEL ABOVE OURSELVES, WE ACTUALLY MAKE THEM FEEL OUT OF PLACE OR MISPLACED.  At first the feeling ROCKS but then they become so use to the idea that human nature takes advantage of it.  Your partner slowly loses respect for you and Love dies.

While Jesus had an awesome take on servant hood,  while on one hand washing His disciples feet, He also knew exactly who He was and where He stood on this relationships deal.  His kind of sacrifice draws all men near to try to hear His message from a wooden cross.  He looked down upon us and said "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do".  Guess what came next?  Our creator did forgive us for turning our backs on Him and discarding Him.

So don't turn your back on what God has provided for you as a Woman and a Man.  It is one of the most beautiful things about life.  While you think you are doing the LOVING THING and picking her or him up above yourself, you are actually putting the whole thing out of balance.

Do yourself a favor, if you want to idolize something then idolize the big G.O.D. (Good Old Dad!).  He will guide you in you relationships, for He is the master of all the interaction of humankind.  By getting the right ideal of equality, that Jesus speaks of, you will also find that YOU have the same level of importance as anyone else.

How is it that we all of a sudden want to save whales, climate and energy?  We have been sucking the planet dry since the 1900s began in many areas.  Meanwhile though we suck the spirit out of our lives also, only to leave a rotting carcase that is full of self absorbed vocal statements and yet is dying……..

Wow, what a long way we have come if all we want to preserve is a planet that cannot exist without it's creator.  A planet's society that thinks it can save itself by saving trees, animals and selfish ambition is still on the road to self destruction if God is not to play His part in it.

The multi faith attitude that says believe whatever you want  ie. Budda, Hindu, Mohammad etc. and treat them all as just as important as Jesus is another road to destruction.  Not only of the planet but also the soul.  Budda was enlightened yes, but only a man,  Mohammad was enlightened too, but only a man like you and me.  the worst part about the Muslim belief is that most of the Karan was a couterfeit of the Holy Bible of Jesus Christ.  Anyway, as such, men will only do what men typically do, and that is take the option of imitating God for self advancement.

Many Muslims are absolutely beautiful people made by the hands of God.  The God of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ!  They all deserve the salvation of Jesus Christ The Holy Bible of Jesus Christ is no counterfeit.  Every word is breathed by God, unless man has tried to misconstrue it, and I believe God has protected it by putting a curse of death on all who have ever tried to change His Word's meaning.  Truth is the Holy Spirit was left by Jesus, no other self proclaimed prophet ever left anything like that!

Yes, the world needs to know it's time to understand real global threat.  It's not the Japanese whale fish trawlers, it's not the big industry, and it's not how much water, electricity or gas you do or don't use.  It's all about how much of the true God's Word you consume in your mind, and the true Holy Spirit you invite into your life that will determine your future.   If the Japanese had a take on God at all then they would know it is best not to lie to the world about the true reason for the whale cull.  If industry listened to God then it would enjoy the benefits of intuitive decision making to stop the smog.  If government ask for spiritual instruction over energy issues then it's greed mentality would leave and give us  good alternatives that would leave us clean and self sufficient options like we have never seen before.

Mistakes were made!

D'oh be a Bible slug, feast on it whenever you can.  Eat a bit or consume a lot, it's all good for you.  Read between the lines because that is where God will feed your spirit best, before your carcase is only full of the world.  Make your body a temple of the Lord Jesus Christ instead…….

Reading  between the lines is like asking God to get the Holy Spirit to tell you what a certain passage is saying.  Like the hole in a donut, it makes the meal more interesting, and allows a space for God to speak to you through His Spirit, to fill your spirit.

The Bible says that what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.  Focus your heart on that.  Quit fumbling around with the world and be found in God, He is hangin' out to meet up!

Ever notice how the more we try to control a situation, the more it tends to control us and get out of our control?  So often we are frustrated by all that is out of reach and get consumed by the whole thing.

Working towards what we think is right without stepping back for an overall view is often a recipe for disaster.  God allows that so as we are always left with the same answer, He is in control, because He knows what is best for us.  A reminder that the truth stays and all else fades away…….

Truth be known, He created you, and all that you are up against, to help refine you and get you to lean His way instead of your own way.  You sure can go your own way, but what is your destination?

God asks us to have a Kingdom focus for our lives, and His Kingdom is at hand. Waiting in the wings is Jesus, our Creator and the Holy Spirit.  With His control we find our true selves, and not some battered path we seem to enjoy treading over and over again.

In a way we are doubling up! He already controls our day to day living.  So why try and take control of the controller?  Chill out and ask Him to control it because He already knows what is best for you.

The problem with that old battered path is that we only kill more of the grass underfoot and slowly get bogged in it. Let Him be your guide on this trip.

Lift your arms up and open your hands to our Father God, and let Him take all control; you are destined for it.  In this you will find true control; the type of control that gives you eternal life, happiness and soul.  He will often give you a new path though, because the old one is no longer traversable.  You made the old dreams die, so move onto the next level; the one given by God.  Ask Him to guide you through and through.  Find that control today.  Losing control is only God reminding us that only He has the best control for us.
