Magnetism

The moon attracts the waves

Pulling them too and fro

Around a ball so lost in space

Where we go, do we know?

The Sun attracts the Earth

spinning in, spinning out

We all just hang on

Hoping something good will come about

Where is your heart?  Where does it lie

By a peaceful stream under the sky?

Or in a place of hurt and pain

Leaving you nowhere to lie?

Are you waiting on a Savior?  A new way out?

A reason to be quiet or a reason to shout?

Heaven pulls us in, while Hell lures us out

Maybe it's time to take another route

A road that leads to freedom, along a narrow track

Or a highway that leads away from Heaven that is harder to get back

Listen in the quite night see the stars above

Each one in unison speaking of God's Love

Hurt no more our time is soon when we reach for a new day

With the savior Jesus reaching out saying "I AM THE WAY"

Be drawn to Him, be drawn to the light, none can deny

For when He comes to take us up we'll see more than just the sky.

Heaven and Hell, What’s the difference?

Friday, March 30th, 2007

Many people have different views on what Hell actually is.  Some believe that Hell is on Earth today while Heaven is automatically after this place.  What is your view, and what is the view down there in Hell actually like?

Ever had a taste of it here on Earth?  Many look at the day to day news and say why is it all such a hellish place at times.  Working, living and breathing on planet Earth certainly takes it's toll.  Often like a road toll, sometimes you've just got to go through it.

Why would a Loving God want to see us go through some of these stressful situations?  Why does He allow the hurt and the murder continue?

As long as we are in the world we are subject to it in many ways.  It is how you respond to it that shows us your character.  It's hard to get bored when you are in the thick of a trial, and how can others seem to go on seemingly unscaved?

In my life I have learnt to accept the bad situations but not let the ways of this world dictate to me how I am suppose to react.  Look at Jesus and how He reacted on the cross.  He realised that to accept the world and yet humbly sacrifice Himself for it was the only way.  He knew  that to react as Man reacts and always physically fight back proved nothing except all men are the same.  Jesus reacted differently, He instead chose to make a massive statement in Love, not Hate, and Peace not in War.  In some ways to share in His rejection and pain at times is an honour and I give Him the glory for it.

The difference between Heaven and Hell?  It's like Light and Dark.  Love and Hate.  Being truly rich or truly poor.  Loving Forever or Fighting Forever.  What do you want?  Uncontrollable Happiness or Uncontrollable Pain?  Controlled Life or Uncontrollable Death…….for eternity.  I believe Hell is where the criminally insane are banished for eternity and go on forever in that insane state…..and what's the keys?

The key to Hell is continually deny Jesus as Judas did.  Fob Jesus off as a fable.  Continually use His Name as a cus word and a lie.  If that is you then I want you to know He still hung on that cross for you.  Hanging there and enduring for you.  Hoping for you, dying for you.  Going through Hell for you before you have to.

The key to Heaven is in answering Jesus's plee "Will you believe in Me?".  Will you go the extra mile as I did for you, and deny yourself as He did?  The key is in coming to the foot of the cross and asking Him to forgive us for our rebellious nature  Forgive us for taking that highway that takes us right up to that toll plaza entitled destruction and death.  The key to His life is saying you truly believe Him, that He is the Christ chosen to save us all.  The crucifixion was the defining moment and not a fictional moment.  It was and is a chance to get to Heaven and become what we are meant to be.  A transformed resident of heaven, perfectly made, healed and Loved by a creator that simply wants us all to come home.

Do you often find yourself asking the sky "What am I all about?".  I believe there comes a point in all of our lives like that.

Working hard all our life does tend to put that question in the filing cabinet for quite some time.  There is a period of time as a child that you don't even think that what we see around us will ever end.  Back in that adolescent time we are mostly interested in what we can get away with.

As you get older questions tend to tease us in questioning our existence.  If there is a God what is He doing?  Why did He make me?

I believe that the life you see here is a CHANCE TO RESPOND to God.  A time where we are free choose to believe in Him or ourselves alone.  How are you responding so far?  Have you tried to search Him out?  Seek this God that needs to be looked for.  If He is so amazing then why is He silent?  Does He speak in different ways, like through His creation?

I can only say that for me, I need to respond.  I need to experience life here, but also life after here.  Often people leave it all until later, file it in the folder called 'PENDING' or 'TRASH'.

God says you have seen me when you have seen my son Jesus.  He also says you have seen my image when you look in the mirror.  Wow!  You take on the appearance of God.  He certainly must Love Himself to want to make more of Him.  He certainly must Love you to let you make up your own mind, in your own time.  Yes, and He wants you to love Him, because this kind of God is Love Himself.  Respond to Him who made you today, I urge you.  Today is the day to respond, for tomorrow you could be in a different place in eternity.  Heaven is a place where people gather who Love their creator, Hell is a place where we reject our creator, and therefore reject ourselves.

Re….member?

What a season Easter has ALWAYS been!  Often misrepresented as the season of fertility, Easter has taken a battering at times.  It is as if we just don't GET IT sometimes.  Like we continue to place Jesus back on that cross every day, even now.

The truth is that "It is finished!"  The game is over, you have been released from sin and death.  You don't have to believe in those two things anymore, we need to stop "feeding" those two things that will ultimately kill us.  Once we both believe and agree with Jesus that He and only He has conquered both, then we are released.

There were three men being sacrificed that day.  The Son of God, a murderer and a thief.  We all must know by now that it was a painful and exhausting time for all of those men.  The difference with Jesus was that He was up there for both of them and us.  He was there for the people who had done wrong, and that's all of us.

While literally at the jaws of death the thief exclaimed "Remember me! when you come into your kingdom!".  Jesus said "Today you will be with me in paradise"

The word remember has even been attacked ever since too.  I don't know about you but remembering simply seems to happen in a part of my brain that I pray never fails!

The true meaning of REMEMBER also speaks of DISMEMBERING from times of old, in the opposite.  It speaks of the dismemberment of the church in the old testiment as well as today.  The dismemberment of the crucified body on the cross, that REmembers our lives.  Puts us back together, and reforms us into our pre-ADAM perfectly created state.

Do you feel DISmembered this Easter?  Do you feel that you need to be better but can't seem to break through?  You need to be reattached to the truth about creation?  REmember with JESUS what HE did for you this Easter, and let His salvation piece your life back together.  In doing so you with reap the true reward of ETERNAL bliss and perfection as HE does a mighty work in you…..and the mighty work was done around two thousand years ago.  Celebrate it today and every day.

Spiritual Control

Monday, February 26th, 2007

It has always been said that the spirit is strong but the flesh is weak.  So which one has the most influence on a persons life?  I believe that the one that is held up with more importance is the one that will rule over the other.

The thing with the flesh is that it is provoked by lust in regard to things it requires.  The more you feed the fleshful desires the more the spirit is taken over by it.  With the spirit you'll find it seeks happiness more than anything else, fulfillment also.

One will only tame the other.  The problem with flesh though is that it never is truly satisfied.  As Mick Jagger once rang out, "I can't get no satisfaction".  If you listen to the song it is all about the fleshful appetite.

With the spirit though people have tried to obtain total happiness also.  Across all religious faiths we have tried to do it this way also.  Some religions take us into solitude while others share the experience.  The thing with the spirit is that it is the only thing that has the potential to live on even after we pass away.  The spiritual decisions we make are often very important to the individual.  To be spiritually content can be true happiness.

The world certainly plays on our flesh, now more than ever.  Why is that?  Apart from the fact that technology leaves fleshly options everywhere for us, we are in a time where the world is trying to tell us that it is more important.  Trying to make the spirit control your flesh is the first step to true happiness.  The bible says that our adversary the devil prowls around seeking who he shall desire.  We are only devil fodder if we don't seek the protection of Jesus.  You see, what Jesus did at Easter gave Jesus spiritual control over the devils plans.  Since that amazing day of amazing grace, we all have had a protector in Him who saves us.  The devil even tried to stop Jesus by tempting His flesh to not go ahead and save all people's who turn to Him.

Thank God He sent us Jesus.  By no other name can we expect total happiness, acceptance and love.  Without His statement in history the flesh would have wiped us all out, because the earth would have been the devil's playground.  Now, at least, we have a choice to follow the leader of the flesh or the leader of the spirit.  The best part about the leader of the spirit is that He is coming back.  The leader of the christian pack is coming back!
